Abstract

The object of this work is to present a semiotic analysis of Manuel Bandeira's poem "Vulgívaga". For such we utilized the semiotic theory of the passions and other studies on this matter. Through this analysis we intend to find out a justification for the sexual preference of the ethos in the poem.
