The relevance of the task of elaborating a critical theory of capitalism appropriate to current times is central today. This article intends to present, in its main lines, the work of Moishe Postone and, above all, to evaluate the extent to which it presents itself as a suitable starting point for the goal of understanding and criticizing the capitalist dynamics. This article is divided in two parts: the first one aims at highlighting the central aspects of Postone's thinking and the second one seeks to raise some questions and critics about both Postone's interpretation of Marx and, more generally, his theorization of capitalism.Downloads
