This article has two basic divisions. In the first, we aim to evaluate some of Jacobi's theses present in the work Preliminary Propositions on Dependence and Freedom of Man. In the second part, the aim is to investigate Jacobi's influence on Kierkegaard's thought, especially in a selected reading of excerpts from the Journal and the works Philosophical Fragments and Concluding Unscientific Postscript to Philosophical Fragments. Finally, by way of conclusion, we intend to highlight the importance of some of Jacobi's theses in the work of the Danish author.
