Abstract

The debate between Adorno and Benjamin in the 30’s was always understood in relation to a certain official hegelianism-marxism from the Social Research Institute. This article tries to show the misunderstandig of this thesis, pointing out the necessity of the reconstruction of this debate having as a background Benjamin’s writings of the 20’s.
