Aspectos da formação dos substantivos postverbais do português

Abstract

With this work, we intend to demonstrate that conversion is the most adequate mechanism to the description of the formation of Portuguese postverbal nouns. Due to the formal resemblance between these deverbal nouns and the nouns which are the base of nonaffixed verbs, we will analyse some morphophonological, syntactical-thematic and semantic criteria that, when applied jointly, permit the distinction between both kind of nouns
