Abstract

Cryotherapy is a method which has been for over 100 years for the most varied pathologies. Currently, it is a method used by majority of physioterapists in rehabilitation clinics, mainly in the treatment of neurological and traumatic dysfunctions. As it is an easily accessible, cheap resource, and as it does not present side effects, it is also used in popular medicine.
