Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality all over the world. Thanks to the advances in medical technology, the survival of these patients has been progressively increasing but little has been done to improve their quality of life after AMI. The objective of the present study was to assess quality of life using a generic SF-36 questionnaire applied to patients with a history of AMI and to correlat it with infarcted area and ejection fraction (EF) determined by Doppler echocardiography.Downloads
