Between imagination, geography and literature: a subjective cartography of the city in The Lambs of the Abyss

The connections between imagination, geography and literature allow us to read the world in unique possibilities, particularly in unique works such as Os Cordeiros do Abismo, by Maria Luísa Ribeiro. In an attempt to analyze the cartography constructed by Leopoldo in Os Cordeiros do Abismo, he embarked on the construction of his procedures and actions in specific times and spaces. Thus, the possibility of reading the novel beyond the plot that structures it was verified, in which the imaginary revealed itself as a potential for interpreting banal subjects that populate the spaces of Brazilian cities.
