Adoção do HBIM-DT na gestão de facilities para a conservação preventiva da arquitetura moderna

Resumo

A mudança progressiva de paradigma sobre a preservação do patrimônio cultural edificado levou os especialistas no campo da conservação do patrimônio a passar de uma abordagem curativa para uma abordagem preventiva. Diante disso, as metodologias digitais como HBIM (Heritage Building Information Modelling) e a tecnologia DT (Digital Twin – Gêmeos Digitais) se apresentam com uma alternativa importante. Nesse sentido, este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma tese de doutorado, que teve como objetivo demonstrar as possibilidades do HBIM-DT, propondo um modelo de Gestão de Facilities (FM) para conservação preventiva do patrimônio Moderno. A metodologia de pesquisa é de caráter pragmático e conta com uma abordagem teórica indutiva. Os métodos para testar e avaliar envolvem métodos mistos, e, como estratégia de pesquisa, foi definido o estudo de casos múltiplos. Os casos escolhidos fazem parte de exemplares da arquitetura Modernista brasileira na cidade do Rio de Janeiro: Palácio Gustavo Capanema, Pavilhão Arthur Neiva e Complexo FGV. A pesquisa compreende a análise documental e a classificação dos serviços de manutenção corretiva, apoiados em soluções HBIM-DT, para preservação do patrimônio, bem como o reconhecimento dos aspectos relacionados à FM para gestão da informação de edificações históricas. Ao final apresenta-se o modelo de gestão HBIM-DT, para o patrimônio Modernista baseado no mapeamento dos serviços e atividades críticas.

  • Cristiane Lopes Canuto, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro

    Cristiane Canuto graduated with in Architecture and Urbanism from Federal Univesity of Viçosa . Master's degree, awarded with distinction for her final thesis in the Professional Master's Program in Project and Heritage and followed by a PhD in Architecture, both from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Research focuses on Cultural Heritage, BIM, HBIM (Heritage Building Information Modelling), Digital Twin, and Facilities Management. Contributed as a researcher in the HBIM Implementation Project at the Historical Heritage Department of COC/FIOCRUZ. Additionally, served as an invited Professor at FGV for the Executive Training course in BIM. With professional expertise in BIM implementation, project management for architectural and complementary disciplines, and the coordination of teams of architects and engineers across all project stages.

  • Monica Santos Salgado, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro

    Monica Santos Salgado is a Senior Professor and full member of the Architecture Graduate Program at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ/PROARQ). Full Professor at FAU UFRJ (from July 1993 until October 2021). Scientist of Our State FAPERJ (since 2021). Visiting Scholars at Parsons School of Design (USA) (CAPES PRINT - 2020). Researcher at CNPq - National Council for Research and Innovation (since 2011). Professor at UFRJ from 1993 to 2005 at the Politechnic School (POLI UFRJ) and from 2005 to 2021 at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism. Postdoctoral fellow at the École Nationale Superieure d´Architecture de Toulouse - France (ENSAT); PhD in Production Engineering from COPPE - UFRJ . Master in Architecture from PROARQ FAU UFRJ , Post-Graduation in Occupational Safety Engineering (POLIUFRJ ), Post-Graduation in Environmental Management (POLIUFRJ ) and is an Architect graduated from FAU UFRJ . Coordinator of the Architecture Graduate Program at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (PROARQ UFRJ), from 2016 to 2019, and coordinator of Civil Engineering undergraduate course at the same University from 2000 to 2001. Leader of GEPARQ - Research Group on Project Management in Architecture: technology, sustainability and BIM - since 1996. Develops research related to design management process of buildings and cities, exploring the possibilities offered by digital technologies - with an emphasis on BIM (Building Information Modeling). Member of the Editorial Board of the journal Gestao e Tecnologia de Projetos. Supervised more than 100 final coursework at different levels of training (undergraduate, master's and doctorate) with publications in journals and proceedings of national and international conferences. Referee of international journals such as "Architectural Engineering and Design Management"; "World Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Sustainable Development"; "Journal of Cultural Heritage Management and Sustainable Development"; and nationals journals as "Oculum Ensaios"; "Gestão e Tenologia de Projetos"; "Cadernos do PROARQ" and consultant ad-hoc for agencies such as CAPES, CNPq, FAPES, FAPESP and FAPEMIG.

  • Ricardo Codinhoto, University of bath

    Dr Ricardo Codinhoto graduated as an Architect and Urban Planner with an MSc in Integrated Design and a PhD in Design Theory and Evidence-Based Design. He is a leading academic in the field of Architecture, Built Environment and Design specialising in Design Management. His research focus is on socio-technical multidisciplinary decision-making in the areas of Building Information Modelling, Evidence-based Design, Design for Health and Wellbeing, Design Theory and Practice, Lean Design, and WELL and BREEAM Standards. He is interested in computer aided building design and how it can enable multicriteria decision-making in complex projects such as hospitals and care and learning environments. His research has been funded by various councils such as EPSRC, AHRC and MRC and is a founder of various research centres and institutes. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the UK’s leading Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Centre for Digital, Manufacturing & Design (dMaDE) at the University of Bath. He is the Editor In-Chief for the renowned International journal Architectural Engineering and Design Management where he seeks to develop a gender balanced Editorial Board and Scientific Committee. He is also a reviewer for over 15 mainstream international journals. He has worked at the highest levels with respected industry bodies including RIBA, ICE and BRE. He has over 100 publications including journal and conference articles, books chapters and he is the editor of the 2019 book Modern Building Design. His research and scholarship related to BIM and Evidence-based Design is internationally recognised. He has delivered keynotes nationally and internationally and worked collaboratively with institutions in Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Finland, Japan, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey and the USA. He is a visiting academic at the International Institute for Innovation, Competitiveness and Design at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a founding member of the Agile Action Research which seeks to streamlining collaboration between universities and industry through the use of AI associated with Society 5.0. He has the same role at the new Mediated Intelligence in Design Centre at Deakin University. He is currently supervising various PhD students at the University of Bath, University of Sao Paulo, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and State University of Londrina.. In the UK he is investigating the implementation of BIM in large multisite building complexes such as large hospitals and universities from inception to operation and decommissioning.
