.Abstract
The use of algorithmic-parametric resources in urban context is a relatively new perspective for the planning and design of cities. In the field of urbanism, although growing, they are either in a smaller number or not as developed as those focused on the field of architecture. In this context, the aim of this paper is to address different computational applications models oriented to urbanistic contexts, in order to establish a framework on the application of these resources and computational systems aimed at urban problem solving, and to build a scenario of researches already developed in this area, systematizing them through a comparative table. Thus, it is possible to conclude that the analyzed models have great potential to manage complex urban planning issues, since they allow the construction of scenarios and modifications in a parametrical environment, that is, to allow the analysis and feedback of the project still in virtual environment.
