Projects in the area of Architecture and Construction involve several stages and participants throughout the process and this causes noise and conflicts associated with inconstancy of information and insufficient data. For this, it is essential to invest in project management aiming at optimizing results. The purpose of this article is to carry out an analysis through research on scientific bases in order to answer the research question: "What are the benefits generated by project management artifacts in the field of Architecture and Construction?". To this end, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was carried out referring to the international databases Scopus and Web of Science, in order to list studies that adhere to the theme and answer the proposed research question. The selection process used resulted in the selection of one hundred and fifteen studies related to the topic, and of these only eleven studies address the research question. These studies were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, and it can be seen the use of nineteen types of artifacts, belonging to seven areas of knowledge of project management, providing several benefits for the field of Architecture and Construction.
