Abstract

A web tool is presented to estimate the building material, based on the designer information. The developed tool is free and is available online. The data used in this work was obtained from 137 Brazilian projects, including indices of architectural form, construction details and consumption of materials. Also, it is available a summary statistics of the 137 projects in order to allow comparisons with new projects (benchmark). Aiming to improve the tool, the designer can add the information of his performed construction.
