Abstract

The adoption of quality management systems in construction industry has been a constant in search for greater competitiveness by improving quality with minimizing errors and costs in design and implementation, especially in the production of buildings. About historic buildings rehabilitation projects, the approach of these systems is relevant and should be individualized incorporating the values related to this project type. The project of expertise must also be considered and in this context, we should note the cooling buildings design. The cooling project characterize aggressive and predatory interventions and has relevance and influence might be the main orientation of intervention. This article aims to analyse the process of historical buildings cooling projects, considering a boarding integrator and to multidiscipline. The research will be based on the analysis of the cooling project insertion in restauration projects from Manuais de Projeto Básico and Projeto Executivo de Restauração do Patrimônio Edificado, IPHAN, and from Manual de Escopo de Serviços de Ar Condicionado e Ventilação – Indústria Imobiliária, AsBEA. Is expects to confirm the project process integrated and simultaneous as alternative viable in historical buildings cooling projects.
