Análisis crítica de los impactos de la vivienda en el bienestar de los residentes y los costos sociales

La vivienda es una necesidad fundamental para el bienestar de la sociedad. De lo contrario, puede conllevar costos para la sociedad y afectar a la salud y calidad de vida. Estos costos son individuales y también sociales. Los estudios sobre los costos sociales (CS) relacionados a las condiciones de vida en las habitaciones interese sociales (HIS) son escasos, y el concepto necesita de mayores debates. Una revisión sistemática de la literatura (RSL) fue realizada para responder la pregunta: ¿Qué son los CSs y qué los desencadena? El objetivo de la investigación es identificar los factores del dimensionamiento del espacio y los detalles de construcción de la HIS, que causan impactos adversos y afectar a la calidad de vida de los residentes. La representación visual de los resultados contribuye a discusiones detalladas para comprensión de los factores que pueden inducir acciones para mejorar el proyecto de HIS y la modernización del stock existente. Los estudios sobre el tema destacan los riesgos para la salud física y mental. Las condiciones térmicas inadecuadas provocan enfermedades, y la depresión existe, ampliando el uso de servicios de salud pública. La inestabilidad social y los conflictos familiares pueden imponer costos para la policía y asistencia social. La relación causa-efecto de las condiciones de la vivienda son raras en la bibliografía de CSs, y constituye una laguna de investigación. Nuevas iniciativas de proyecto, el mejoramiento o renovación de HIS pueden contribuir para el bienestar y al desarrollo social y tecnológico, y reducir el impacto medioambiental.
