Haciendo la lógica: una experiencia metodológica de proceso de diseño digital para pequeñas intervenciones urbanas

Resumen

Los discursos emergentes del proceso digital de diseño apuntan a la creciente necesidad de conectar y manipular los datos objetivos del diseño. Uno de los desafíos es saber cómo relacionar y hacer operativos estos datos con precisión utilizando un entorno computacional. Este artículo investiga los procesos de diseño digital mediante el desarrollo de una lógica de diseño para pequeños proyectos urbanos utilizando datos objetivos. Este trabajo sigue el método: (1) definir los criterios de ubicación del proyecto, de acuerdo con los datos georreferenciados y la teoría de Sintaxis Espacial; (2) operacionalizar las relaciones socioespaciales según el libro A Pattern Language; (3) desarrollar una definición de Grasshopper para modelar varias familias de objetos. Probamos el método en una pequeña intervención urbana, en la ciudad de Viçosa (MG), con el propósito de fabricar digitalmente un mueble urbano.
