Abstract

Understanding that ethnographies also happen at the touch of the screen is to recognize the confluences between the imagery, the verbal, the sound, as embedded impregnations of/in the present time. In this article I sought to address some situations that allow us to think about the presence of smartphones, their technical potential and sensitive mediations during ethnographic processes. This also implies problematizing the potential and limits inherent to these tools, through which we communicate and seek to establish correspondence relationships. Understanding that they are not just tools, but produce specific agencies, relationships and processes of subjectivation. They are technopoetic means.
