Abstract

The present article analyzes the oral tale in its diverse symbolic manifestations. It deals with a study carried out in the region of Alto Juruá River, in the Amazonian nooks, or Guajará in Amazonas and Cruzeiro do Sul in Acre. The text shows the oral tale’s influence in the imaginary place and how it absorbs imaginary elements to build itself. The tale is analyzed in its symbolism universe coding to understand how these things are used to teach moral, social, political and ethnic rules in the Amazon context.
