Abstract

The hermeneutical analysis of Euripides’ tragedy Iphigenia at Aulis confirms that four points of view are confused and distinguished in the power relationships. They are consubstantiated in four connected and necessary grades of truth, being and knowledge. These four grades are the human, heroic, numinous and divine ones. Meanwhile, this analysis shows that the dynamics of this fourfold unity is a basic structure of Euripides’ theatre and it also shows the deflection of justice through that manifold unity.
