Abstract

This text has two objectives: first, aims to show how the notion of enargeia, founded and developed in the Greek rhetorical tradition of fifth century, occurs in Greek poetry since the Homeric poems. Then, it tries to understand this notion in sympotic archaic Greek elegy, especially in the work of the spartan poet Tyrtaeus.
