O corpo e o caleidoscópio, published by Castanha Mecânica in 2023, is the first book by young writer Thays Albuquerque. Its theme is urgent: Memory and Dictatorship. The work currently has three editions, the most recent being a bilingual version (Portuguese–Spanish) released in 2024. The second edition opens with a notable endorsement on the back cover by Professor Eurídice Figueiredo and an indispensable foreword by the writer Maria Valéria Rezende—two major figures in the field of Memory, Literature, and Dictatorship studies.
