Abstract

This article deals with children's universe in the context of musical games, practiced by children in moments of free interaction, in order to investigate how is the relationship with these toys and, consequently, with music. The idea was born from the observation of a group of children between the ages of 6 and 10, who played hand games in the playground during the school playtime and, through this games, interacted with each other developing musical abilities unconsciously.  To support the research, I turned to some authors who deal with childish's culture by valuing children's spontaneous activities and seeing them as "culture producers" (SOUSA, 2008, P. 02).  The methodology used for the data collection was participatory observation plus interview, in order to investigate spontaneous interactions through the musical games that children practice in the school playtime.  Through these observations, we tried to draw parallels and highlight aspects of this "play with music" that may help in musicalization classes.
