Abstract

From the investigation of the novel Kianda's Desire (1995), authored by the Angolan fiction writer Pepetela, the article will deal with the confrontations and interpenetrations between distinct cultural records that stitch together the Angolan society. It is assumed that the articulation of a plurality of voices and wills within the same context, problematizing it, is one of the key elements of the production of postcolonial literature.
