Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical discussion, supported mainly by Gérard Genette, on the narrative language of the book Reinações de Narizinho, by Monteiro Lobato. In the sophisticated discursive technique of the work, the same characters who live the story are also in charge of telling events. The objective is to equip professional reading mediators to understand the occurrence and demonstrate, from the point of view of narrative resources, the potential of this classic in the conquest of new recipients.
