Abstract

This essay aims to study the presence of violence and trauma in Romanceiro Inconfidência Cecilia Meireles, and the lyrical work of the Jewish poet Rose Ausländer since the time of their imprisonment in the ghetto of Czernowitz in 1941. It will also reflect on the contributions of literature, especially in relation to future generations, as a instrument of memorial and the acquisition of a historical consciousness.
