In A hora da estrela, Clarice Lispector exposes the paradoxes of the act of writing, as she had already exposed in some of her books. This is one of the central problems of the book, in which the impossibility of solving these paradoxes is metaphorized by silence, by emptiness, by the ruin of the text itself. In this book we find the dilution of time, the narrative plot, the shattering of the literary work, and, finally, the exposition of the backstage of literary creation by the narrators.
