The shell and the yolk: reunion. Yearning for the absolute in Raduan Nassar's Lavoura arcaica

Abstract

The article examines Raduan Nassar's fundamental work Lavoura arcaica, in the attempt to understand the close relationships established between form and content it. The question of order and exclusion, as well as that of the split subject, is resolved in the reunion which materialises in its structure, throught  the mixture of genres and the circular nature of the narrative.
