Object a, ready-made, Das Ding.Abstract
The object a names an irreducible internal limit to the powers of formalism. The part a inscribes itself in logic, in as much as it is extimate, that is to say that a means the informalisable of structure. The a is not the product of an articulated structure, but the product of a fragmented body. Besides the natural objects a Lacan has also pointed out the objects of sublimation, those objects that fill the place of the object as lost object, which cometo the place of the Thing. In a similar way, Duchamp´s genius was to show that art must be recognized in a context.
