Abstract

This is a approach to passion in poetry - to Pathos in literature - from the Bible and Greece to the present time, but not in a strictly chronological order. Rather than conceptualising, one intends to illustrate the passionate experience which the great texts register, enhancing a series of literature paradigms covering from the 9th century until today.
