Abstract

This text seeks to contextualise the comments which Walter Benjamin made about Bertold Brecht's poetry in the historical context of the 1930's (the rise and consolidation of natinal-socialism in Germany), which decisively marked the lives of both. The text is followed by an introduction and some samples of the Benjaminian approach.
