Abstract

The goal of the reading intends to be a interpretation of the Pau Brasil (1925), Oswald de Andrade's modernist experimental poetry in agreement with the proposed topic - the pinnacle of the country's history and the modernizing facets of its present. In this regard, the paper privileges the examen of the ways and means of artistic creation in order to attempt to understand how the author articulated the country and its oscillating character in a poetic form, begining with the language of everyday speech.
