The sociopolitical role of religion and rituals are crucial elements in the study of roman institutions. After all, the religious sphere is part of a complex epistemological system produced by the republican elite that is linked to the different social segments of Rome. Thus, we aim to analyze the religious activities attributed to the magistracy and the Senate in the Roman Republic.
