This article tries to summarize the hypothesis of the «instance of the live image» in its connection with the public space, which is conceived as a communicational space, rather than an institutional or a legal one. The instance of the live image is displayed not as the live image itself, but as the plan of representation in which the live image takes place. This plan is put as the main factor of unification of the public space in its broadest sense. According to this hypothesis, the new technological possibilities of the digital age do not revoke this plan: they just reinforce it as they put new questions about it.Downloads
