Fiction and resistance in the file culture

It is notorious the leading role that has taken over, in the contemporary cultural scene, the various forms of documentalism, which, however, have not refrained from making use of procedures that are characteristic of the fictional narrative. In parallel, the database has been occupying an increasingly significant territory, disputing space with the narratives concerning the manner of structuring our experience of the world. Given this situation, the article asks which place taken by the fiction proposes itself as a place of resistance, discussing, from the selected works, the relationship between everyday life and history in the representation of social tensions.
