Abstract

O livro estimula uma reflexão crítica sobre a representação da identidade cultural do estrangeiro/imigrante na ficção televisiva espanhola, mostrando que tal representação manifesta-se configurada numa complexa relação de identidade e alteridade, sob as quais se erguem pilares ideológicos, políticos e econômicos. Destaca que o elemento estrangeiro/imigrante na ficção televisiva constrói-se a partir de temas já consolidados na imprensa, e que esta tende a apresentar o imigrante como problema ou fonte de preocupação.
