Water coloring in comics the resentments of art-education

Abstract

It addresses the process of creating and launching a miniseries of comic strips made in watercolor, and posted on Instagram, entitled Martim, professor de Arte (2021). It aims to encourage reflections on the inconveniences involved in acting in art-education, to demonstrate the importance of dialogues with other art-educators in the search for overcoming and collective strengthening. The motivations that led to the creation of the comic strip script reverberated from a series of feelings arising from the experiences lived in the school environment, as well as the search for reconciliation between the teacher´s and artist´s side, which often seem to be in conflict, one overlapping the other. The method used consisted of bibliographical research relating it to the comments of art teachers obtained on Instagram where the mini-series of strips was published.
