Abstract

Michel Serres is maybe the most relevant philosophy of language critic. He rejects the idea that “there is no world outside of language”, as stated by linguist and communication scholars. What exceeds language and therefore cannot be expressed would be more valuable to science than the data translated into words as they neutralize the first.
