This work is based on a study of the period beginning in the year of Brazilian independence (1822) and ending with the enactment of the 1988 Constitution,covering more than 160 years of our history. It is focused on the facts that are based on lobbying actions detected in the course of time, by means of event that occurred and were recorded in numerous documents of our political and economic history. The term lobbying is considered to be an activity involving pressure by the private sector, whether ostensive or concealed, legitimate or not, in favor or against, to influence the decisions of the government, not only in the legislative branch, in favor of private interests.Downloads
