Discourses on climate (in)justice in the Amazon reports from COP-30in Sumaúma

Based on environmental journalism, this text aims to discuss the perspective of climate (in)justice based on reports from Sumaúma about the preparations for COP-30, which gives visibility to the relationship between the Amazon and the climate emergency. Methodologically, we adopted Pecheutian Discourse Analysis. As a result, we point out that climate justice permeates the discourse of the analyzed reports in different ways, demonstrating an advance in relation to mainstream journalism. Sumaúma presents discursive formations of transformative and participatory justice, revealing contextualized and plural coverage.
