Abstract

Brazilian Organizational Communication obtained with the founding of the Aberje (Brazilian Association of Business Communication), on October 8, 1967, one of its most solid landmarks. The history of this field of Applied Social Sciences has evolved from the activity of dissemination of information to the industrial workers of the 1960s to an encompassing theoretical and professional field that presently has important interfaces with Administration, Anthropology, Social Sciences, Law, Psychology, Information Technology and History, among other areas. This evolution of Organizational Communication has required a cultured and politicized organizational communicator.
