Communication and health: a diversified and powerful field

Abstract

The intertwining of the social and communication aspects of health gave rise to a new field of  knowledge since the second half of the last century. The purpose of this text is of pondering on the theoretical and conceptual dimensions of this web. For the future the task is to outline through communication the social themes in which the health problems and situations (risk, medication,technique etc.) are inserted and the systemizing of the empirical research and of the experiments conducted to get to know which part of what has already been done can (or not) be used for newexperiments.
