This article identifies and describes the profile of groups that research on communication and sport in Brazil, raised in the Directory of Research Groups of the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) from many keywords that mainly characterize the relation between the media and sports. It also analyses the features of these groups, their bibliographic production and their links with the areas of knowledge.Downloads
