Abstract

This article presents the methodology and results of a project developed by students of the Landscape Planning II course in the undergraduate Architecture and Urbanism program at the Federal University of Campina Grande. The project aimed to develop a landscape plan for Green-Blue Infrastructure at the urban macro scale, integrated with the existing gray infrastructure in Campina Grande (PB). The main objective was to design an intervention within the walkable surroundings of a section of the railway line that crosses the city’s macro-urban zone. The activities included field visits, the construction of a theoretical-methodological framework, the production of cartograms, and the elaboration of a diagnosis and preliminary design. The process highlighted the importance of Green-Blue Infrastructure in creating more sustainable and inclusive cities, promoting quality of life and community well-being.
