Abstract

Based on known concepts, this study aims at showing a plan that allows to implement both the management and repair of historic gardens. The several intervention phases upon these gardens are exposed, condensed in two groups: an admin istrative one, and those related to the vegetation. The factors that influence the management of a historic garden are also shown and, finally, it can be concluded that it is the fragility of the elements that compose these gardens that make them fascinating, besides being co-operators of the history concerning the register of the way of living in different ages.
