Surgimento e transformações da reserva de áreas verdes na legislação de parcelamento do solo urbano do município de São Paulo

Abstract

The reservation of green areas in the urban plotting plans is a important instrument to the increase the Green Areas Sistem with new public green areas. This instrument, that appears in 1923 at the first time in the municipal legislation of São Paulo City, is associated with urban model of Garden Cities created by Ebenezer Howard. From it appearing untill this days, the reservation of green areas was modified in the reservation percentage, technicals areas choice crieterions as well as the Public Administration competence to choose this areas. This paper introduces the results of a research about the appearing and it modifications of reservation green areas in the municipal São Paulo City legislation of urban plotting and discuss about the consequences of these modifications to the increase the Green Areas Sistem with new public green areas.
