Abstract

This article aims at discussing the relationship between history and the understanding of the cities throughout its landscape. It is a conceptual discussion as a didactical tool for the development of the architect and the urbanist, helping them to work with projects and researches about the open public space systems in cosmopolitan cities, like São Paulo – our live laboratory.
