Abstract

Born in the scope of European anthropology in the last years, the idea of non-place has been used by landscape architects, city planners and architects without major questions. It is also used in debates about urban landscape as a part of the ideological instrument that is unable to solve questions observed in cities. In the assay that follows the author question that value of the non-place idea to the knowledge area in which the landscape architects belong.
