Escala de Distresse Psicológico Infantojuvenil (EDISTRESS-IJ): Proposta de um Instrumento de Avaliação Reduzido

Resumo

Distresse é um componente importante a ser considerado na saúde mental dos estudantes. O objetivo geral deste estudo foi propor a investigação de um modelo composto por itens de diferentes instrumentos que avaliam elementos do distresse e, a partir disso, buscar a estruturação de um modelo reduzido para avaliar o construto. Participaram 515 alunos dos 6º aos 9º anos de escolas públicas paranaenses (Brasil). Foram empregadas a Escala de Ansiedade para Crianças e Adolescentes, a Escala Baptista de Depressão (versão infantojuvenil) - EBADEP-IJ e a Escala de Desregulação Emocional Infantojuvenil - EDEIJ. Os resultados indicaram o melhor ajuste ao modelo Bifactor, sendo possível confirmar a estrutura teórica do distresse. Os dados são discutidos levando em consideração tanto as implicações clínicas quanto as psicoeducacionais do diagnóstico desse construto.
