Educação Ambiental e Movimentos Sociais: reflexões e questões levantadas no GDP

Abstract

The wide universe of subjects and questions identified and shown at the "Research in Environmental Education and Social Movements" RDG (Research and Discussion Group), when the relation between Environmental Education and Social Movements was discussed, makes clear the relevance of this discussion and how much it needs to be taken into account by those who do academic researches in Environmental Education. In the present article, we systematized the thoughts and the leading suggestions raised by the group, aiming to help: identifying the main research questions; the dialog between environmental educators and militants of social movements; and the promotion of studies that recognize the importance of such a relation in contemporary sociopolitical and historical context.
