This work aims to explore the possibilities opened by two theoretical and methodological fields - "socioenvironmental conflict" and "moral education" - for the setting up of a theoretical and methodological proposal for continuing teacher education in Environmental Education (EE), oriented by an EE referential of citizenship education through an emancipatory perspective. It is a theoretical and reflective work of naturalistic/qualitative approach and it includes the analyses of an intervention experience performed at a previous occasion. It provided indications that the resources of those fields can support educators to build their understanding of concepts and ideas toward our EE perspective. It can also support them to create by themselves pedagogical practices that are coherent to that referential. The works allowed the formulation of a theoretical and methodological proposal of continuing education in which educators join local/regional case studies of socioenvironmental conflict with methodological resources of moral education to create classroom activities.Downloads
