Abstract

This paper investigates the similarities and specificities of the actor's work both in theater and film. From the idea of the meeting on the plateau/set of the movie and the play, concepts such as presence, trace and space are tested to problematize the actor as the main link between the two fields.

    Professor pesquisador da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, lotado no Departamento de Fotografia, Teatro e Cinema da Escola de Belas Artes. Doutorando em Artes Cênicas na Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, com bolsa sanduíche (CNPQ) no Departamento de Performance Studies da New York University, com orientação da Profa. Dra. Beatriz Resende. Como cineasta realizou os filmes Uakti, Musika, A Hora Vagabunda, Samba-Canção, Fronteira, entre outros, todos premiados e exibidos no Brasil e exterior.
